PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator capable of generating a fine mist although a rotating substrate for generating mist has a small diameter so as to be small as a whole.SOLUTION: The mist generator includes, inside a body case 1, the rotating substrate rotationally driven by a motor 3 a tank 5 for storing liquid for generating a mist and a liquid feeding means for feeding the rotating substrate 4 with the liquid stored in the tank 5. Annular collision wall rows 56 with collision walls 37 and liquid passages 47 alternately arranged are provided at least double in a radial direction in a state of surrounding the rotational center of the rotating substrate 4. The collision walls 37 of the outside collision wall row 56 are allowed to face the liquid passages 57 of the inside collision wall row 56 so that liquid surely collides with the collision walls 37 to create a mist.
