PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator which includes a rotary substrate with a small diameter for generating mist and is made compact as a whole, and nonetheless can generate fine mist.SOLUTION: Inside a body case 1, the rotary substrate 4 to be rotationally driven by a motor 3, a tank 5 for storing liquid for mist generation, and a liquid feed means for feeding the liquid stored in the tank 5 to the rotary substrate 4 are disposed. Annular collision wall columns 56 in which collision walls 37 and liquid paths 57 are alternately disposed are provided at least doubly in a radial direction in the state of surrounding the rotation center of the rotary substrate 4. The collision wall 37 of the collision wall column 56 on the outer side is made to face the liquid path 57 of the collision wall column 56 on the inner side, and the liquid is surely made to collide with the collision wall 37 and miniaturized.
