A washing machine (1), comprising: a box body (100); a rotating tub (200) rotatably disposed in the box body (100); a support and shock-absorption component (300) with one end being connected to the lower portion of the box body (100) and the other end supporting the rotating tub (200); and an impeller (600) rotatably disposed in the rotating tub (200). According to the washing machine (1), a water containing tub is not needed. The washing machine (1) has large capacity, saves water, and is environmentally friendly and not easy to cause secondary pollution, and has strong stability and low noise.
