The water storage tank for the washing machine includes: a tank body configured in a housing of the washing machine, and having a water flowing portion which is internally formed into a tubular shape and constitutes a continuous flow path surface and an external surface portion that constitutes a flexible external surface; a water injecting port arranged at one end of the tank body and configured to inject water, as washing drum drainage water, discharged from a washing drum to the tank body; and a water outtake port arranged at another end of the tank body and capable of recirculating the water injected into the tank body into the washing drum.
