The desired height for hedge cutting is set by an adjustable cutter aid set in a vertical holder and adjusted by steps of 50mm and then positioned by a spring bolt. The mobile base frame is made of square tubing of steel or aluminium. The bottom end of the frame has 3 easy running castors which can turn full circle on a base plate. The base plate and hedge shears fixed thereon by wing nuts or quick-fit connectors can be turned horizontally.
