The present invention includes compositions and methods for increasing an efficacy of an immune checkpoint inhibitor comprising: identifying a human patient in need of treatment for a melanoma； providing the human patient with an effective amount of the immune checkpoint inhibitor； and providing the human patient with at least one of: a probiotic bacteria, a prebiotic agent, or a xenobiotic agent, in the amount is effective to increase the potency of the immune checkpoint inhibitor against the melanoma.La présente invention comprend des compositions et des procédés permettant d'augmenter l'efficacité d'un inhibiteur de point de contrôle immunitaire, comprenant : l'identification d'un patient humain nécessitant un traitement pour un mélanome ； l'administration au patient humain d'une quantité efficace de l'inhibiteur de point de contrôle immunitaire ； et l'administration au patient humain d'au moins l'un parmi : une bactérie probiotique, un agent prébiotique ou un agent xénobiotique, la quantité étant efficace pour augmenter la puissance de l'inhibiteur de point de contrôle immunitaire contre le mélanome.
