PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dentifrice composition which can keep the surface of teeth smooth effectively by exhibiting a high dental plaque removing ability or a high stain removing ability, while giving a moderate feeling of granules without damaging teeth.SOLUTION: The invention provides a dentifrice composition containing component (I): 2 mass% or more to 40 mass% or less of granules comprising a water-insoluble powder material (A) and an inorganic binder (B) as well as component (II): 3 mass% or more to 15 mass% or less of abrasive powders selected from heavy calcium carbonate, zeolite, and the abrasive silica with RDA value of 160 or less and mean particle diameter of 1 μm or more to 15 μm or less.
