The present invention provides an interference ribonucleic acid for inhibiting matrix metalloproteinases 1 (MMP1). The interference ribonucleic acid contains 19 to 25 nucleotides, and is selected from the group that is made up of essentially identical sequences in SEQ ID NO.5 and/or SEQ ID NO.6, or essentially identical sequences in SEQ ID NO.7 and/or SEQ ID NO.8, or essentially identical sequences in SEQ ID NO.9, and SEQ ID NO.10, or essentially identical sequences of the above combination.
