The present invention relates to a method of identifying nucleic acid molecules encoding variable, hypervariable and/or joining regions of T cell receptor β chains as well as to this method of the invention further comprising identifying the nucleic acid molecules encoding variable, hypervariable and/or joining regions of the matching T cell receptor α chains. The present invention further relates to a primer or a set of primers as well as to a kit.
