PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed for poultry farming that uses Sargassum macrocarpum that is a perennial marine alga as a functional feed raw material for poultry farming, in which the annual part of Sargassum macrocarpum is used, thereby a lot of processes are not required to produce a marine algae powder, the marine algae powder can be obtained by a low cost, and the production cost of the functional feed raw material for poultry farming is inexpensive, in addition that can contribute the concentrate of the yolk color of eggs.SOLUTION: The feed for poultry farming is characterized in that the annual part of Sargassum macrocarpum that is a perennial marine alga is performed by grinding and moisture removing, the dry powder of Sargassum macrocarpum in which the moisture is at most 20 wt.% is blended in a poultry farming basic feed by the proportion of 0.5-5 wt.%. The dry powder of Sargassum macrocarpum is obtained by that the annual part of Sargassum macrocarpum that is a perennial marine alga is collected, and is dried by the sun, then is performed by grinding and moisture removing by using a shock type grinding and drying method.
