A subject turning system constituted of: a platform arranged to support a subject positioned on a first portion thereof over a platform base a translation mechanism, comprising a first arm and a parallel second arm, the platform extending from the first arm to the second arm, the translation mechanism arranged to translate the platform first portion along a translation axis extending between the first arm and the second arm a height adjustment mechanism arranged to adjust the height of one of the first arm and second arm to a first height in relation to the platform base, the first height and the distance of the translation determined such that the combination of the rotation and translation causes a rotation of the subject from a first position to a second position.Linvention porte sur un système de rotation de sujet, lequel système est constitué par : une plateforme agencée de façon à soutenir un sujet positionné sur une première partie de celle-ci sur une base de plateforme un mécanisme de translation, comprenant un premier bras et un second bras parallèle, la plateforme sétendant à partir du premier bras jusquau second bras, le mécanisme de translation étant agencé de façon à faire effectuer une translation à la première partie de plateforme le long dun axe de translation sétendant entre le premier bras et le second bras un mécanisme de réglage de hauteur agencé de façon à régler la hauteur de lun du premier bras et du second bras à une première hauteur par rapport à la base de plateforme, la première hauteur et la distance de la translation étant déterminées de telle sorte que la combinaison de la rotation et de la translation provoque une rotation du sujet à partir dune première position jusquà une seconde position.
