A hair-dye composition that contains the following components: (A) one or more azo dyes selected from the group consisting of (A-1), (A-2), and (A-3)； and (B) one or more species selected from the group consisting of guanidine carbonate, guanidine bicarbonate, sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, potassium carbonate, potassium bicarbonate, and lithium carbonate.
