The present invention relates to antibodies or antibody fragments that bind, neutralize, and/or inhibit Hendra or Nipah virus. The invention provides antibodies or antibody fragments that selectively bind to the F glycoprotein of Hendra or Nipah virus, and pharmaceutical compositions including such antibodies and/or fragments. The invention further provides polynucleotides encoding the antibodies and fragments of the invention and host cells transformed therewith.
