The manifold (1) has a liquid absorber (20) mounted in each of a set of flexible collection bags of a collection unit. An inlet connection assembly is mounted in a front end opening of the collection bags or in a case in which the first collection bag of the set of collection bags is in a continuous flow passage formed by the collection bags. A detection collection assembly is mounted in a rear end opening of the collection bag or in a case in which the last collection bag of the set of collection bags is in the passage, and includes a gas permeable connector introduced in the rear opening.
