PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass for medical containers that has high transparency before irradiation and is hardly colored even after irradiation, and also can be produced at low cost.SOLUTION: A glass for medical containers contains, as a glass composition in a mass ratio in oxide conversion, SiO2 55-75%, Al2O3 0-5%, Li2O+Na2O+K2O 10-20%, Li2O 0-10%, Na2O 5-15%, K2O 5-15%, BaO 5-15%, ZnO 0-5%, CeO2 0.1-5%, and SnO2 0-2%.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】放射線照射前において透明性が高く、尚且つ放射線を照射後も着色し難く、さらに低コストで製造可能な医療用ガラスを提供する。【解決手段】 本発明の医療容器用ガラスは、ガラス組成として下記酸化物換算の質量%で、SiO2 55~75%、Al2O3 0~5%、Li2O+Na2O+K2O 10~20%、Li2O 0~10%、Na2O 5~15%、K2O 5~15%、BaO 5~15%、ZnO 0~5%、CeO2 0.1~5%、SnO2 0~2%を含有することを特徴とする。【選択図】なし
