The wheelchair has a shell (1) made of rigid and light material, and a chassis (2) for supporting the shell and a load-carrying wheel equipment. A permanent wheel train is formed of two wheels (5) located at the front of the chassis. Two interchangeable wheel trains are complementary to the permanent train, and permit modification of the load-carrying wheel equipment. One of the interchangeable wheel trains (3) is formed of three wheels (3a-3c). Another interchangeable train has two wheels and a foot operated locking mechanism for locking the equipment using foot.Le châssis (2) formé déléments métalliques rigidement liés les uns aux autres supporte la coquille (1).
