PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-agent type oxidative hair dye composition that self-heats when mixing a plurality of agents, the composition being obtained such that a reducing agent having a large calorific value is searched for and the temperature of the oxidative hair dye composition is efficiently raised with a small amount of the reducing agent.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there is provided a multi-agent type oxidative hair dye composition comprising a reduction agent consisting of an oxidation dye (A), an iodide (B), and a reduction agent consisting of iodide (C). The content of the (C) is 0.05% by mass or more. A large calorific value is generated by an oxidation-reduction reaction between the reduction agent consisting of iodide and the oxidation agent.
