[PROBLEMS] To provide a method for stably dispersing a naturally-derived free ceramide having a long chain fatty acid in a ceramide skeleton (particularly a naturally-derived human-type free ceramide) in an aqueous phase. SOLUTION: A natural-derived free ceramide, a nonionic surfactant, a phospholipid, and a diol having 2 to 6 carbon atoms are contained, and a content mass ratio of the natural-derived free ceramide and the diol is 1: 3 to 25. The ceramide dispersion composition, wherein the free ceramide contained in the naturally derived free ceramide is a free ceramide of a fatty acid having a carbon number of 20 or more in the ceramide skeleton.
