The present invention concerns methods for promoting the exudation of oleoresin 5 from trees 3, in particular pines or other conifers, and a composition for implementing said method. The method according to the invention consists of applying, onto a surface wound inflicted on a tree, at least one solution of a water-soluble organic acid chosen from the following acids: acetic acid, maleic/fumaric acid, oxalic acid, a hydroxy acid, one of the salts thereof, one of the derivatives thereof, a mixture of at least two of said acids, salts, derivatives and, very advantageously, the hydroxy acid is one of the following acids: glycolic acid, lactic acid, glyceric acid, malic acid, tartaric acid, mandelic acid, ascorbic acid, salicylic acid, a mixture of at least two of said acids and, even more preferably, citric acid.La présenté invention concerne les procédés pour favoriser lexsudation de loléorésine 5 darbres 3 notamment de pins ou autres conifères, ainsi quune composition pour la mise en œuvre du procédé. Le procédé selon linvention consiste en une application, sur une blessure superficielle infligée à un arbre, dau moins une solution dun acide organique hydrosoluble choisi parmi les acides suivants : acétique, maléique-fumarique, oxalique, un acide hydroxylé, dun de leurs sels, dun de leurs dérivés, dun mélange dau moins deux de ces acides, sels, dérivés et, très avantageusement, lacide hydroxylé est lun des acides suivants : glycolique, lactique, glycérique, malique, tartrique, mandélique, ascorbique, salicylique, un mélange dau moins deux de ceux-ci, et de façon encore plus préférentielle lacide citrique.
