Streptomyces carnosus bacterial strain producing loboforins and loboforin produced by it. # The invention provides a new bacterial strain of Streptomyces carnosus that has been isolated from its natural environment and deposited in the Spanish Type Culture Collection under accession number 9162, which is capable of efficiently producing by fermentation antibiotic compounds of the loboforin family.
