PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single bearing reel which hardly breaks the connection portion of a rod-mounting portion to a frame and can adjust the distance of a spinning rod to a finger brake operation site.SOLUTION: The single bearing reel has a spool 3 for winding a line, a spool shaft 2 and a reel body 1. The spool shaft 2 rotatably supports the spool 3. The reel body 1 has a frame 10 for supporting the spool shaft 2, and a rod-mounting portion 12 fixed to the frame 10 in a state capable of changing a distance from the spool shaft 2. The frame 10 has a circular frame body 13, and a fixed protruded portion 14 disposed at a position deviated from the outside surface of the frame body 13 to the spool shaft 2 as the center so as to protrude in a circular shape including the axis C1 of the spool shaft.
