PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needlepoint sealing device for a blood collecting instrument allowing a rapid, safe and easy sealing operation of a needlepoint after blood collection.SOLUTION: This needlepoint sealing device for the blood collecting instrument includes a protector P capable of covering a needle tube 6, connected to a hub 6a in a base end part of the needle tube 6. The protector P comprises: a first member 1 wherein one end part is connected to the hub and which is turnably supported and a second member 2 slidably supported on the other end part side of the first member to allow a change of a dimension in the length direction of the whole protector into an extension state and into a contraction state.
