PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon catheter system having a small cross sectional profile during shrinkage of a balloon, and which achieves blood flow in the surrounding of the balloon even during full expansion of the balloon.SOLUTION: Provided is a balloon catheter system having one or more conduits 10 to which, an elastic balloon 12 having a non-spiral shape in its shrinkage state. The balloon is configured to become a swirl-state or spiral structure during expansion.
