The present invention addresses the problem of providing a hair treating method and a hair treating agent set, whereby the effect of a treating agent selected from among a hair coloring agent, a bleaching agent, a permanent waving agent, a curly hair straightening agent and a hair treatment can be enhanced while suppressing hair damage and repairing damaged hair. This problem can be solved by: a hair treating method characterized by comprising a step for applying the following [Agent I] to the hair and a subsequent step for applying a treating agent X selected from among a hair coloring agent, a bleaching agent, a permanent waving agent and a curly hair straightening agent and a hair treating agent set comprising the following [Agent I] and [Agent II]. [Agent I]: a hair treating agent at least comprising keratin, collagen and sodium dilauroyl glutamate lysine. [Agent II]: a hair treating agent at least comprising keratin having a weight-average molecular weight of 300-500, keratin having a weight-average molecular weight of 3000-5000 and a pH adjusting agent.本發明係以提供一種抑制、修補毛髮損傷,同時可提高選自毛髮染色劑、漂白劑、燙髮劑、天然卷髮矯正劑或護髮劑之處理劑效果之毛髮處理方法及毛髮處理劑套組為課題,本課題係可藉由對毛髮進行特徵為具有塗布下述[I劑]之步驟,接著,塗布選自毛髮染色劑、漂白劑、燙髮劑或天然卷髮矯正劑之處理劑X之步驟之毛髮處理方法而獲得解決,且,可藉由由下述[I劑]以及下述[II劑]構成之毛髮處理劑套組獲得解決。[I劑]:至少含有角蛋白、膠原蛋白以及二(月桂醯胺麩胺酸)離胺酸鈉之毛髮處理劑[II劑]:至少含有重量平均分子量為300~500之角蛋白、重量平均分子量為3000~5000之角蛋白以及pH調整劑之毛髮處理劑。
