PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a very administrable oral composition obtained by improving smell and bitterness of chitin or chitosan which are conventionally a problem.
SOLUTION: The oral composition contains 0.1-10 wt.% taurine and the chitin or the chitosan and/or a salt thereof. The bitterness which is conventionally the problem and which is apt to be felt when a large amount of the chitin or the chitosan is administered is especially reduced by the oral composition. The oral composition is very administrable, and enables the benefit caused by the intake of a large amount of the chitin or the chitosan to be easily received.
