PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of threshing/sorting work by preventing clogging of sorting objects on a swing shelf and falling into a state of becoming impossible to continue the work.SOLUTION: The threshing device includes an openable/closable shutter (100) on a second dust discharge port (103) provided on an upper side of a rear end of a swing shelf (51) a diffusion guide (88) provided on the swing shelf (51) at a position from an upper side of a transfer shelf (52) to the upper side of a first chaff sieve (53) for guidingly diffuse second processed objects supplied to a right-side front part of the transfer shelf (52) in the horizontal direction and a layer thickness sensor (43) for detecting the layer thickness of sorting objects on the transfer shelf (52), where a contactor (44a) is suspended in an attitude inclined obliquely backward and downward with respect to a sensor spindle (25) that is disposed in a direction crossing with a side face of the diffusion guide (88) in plane view.
