According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a mobile X-ray apparatus includes: an X-ray irradiating part for irradiating an X-ray； a battery for supplying power to the X-ray irradiating part； a charging part for charging the battery； a BMS for receiving power from the battery or the charging unit and outputting a first signal based on a state of the battery； and a first switch which is turned off according to the first signal to cut off power supplied to the BMS.
