The MRI apparatus for implementing the method comprises the main magnetic coil to generate a homogeneous constant magnetic field in the examination area, a number of gradient coils to generate switchable magnetic gradients in different directions in space in the examination area, a radio-frequency coil to generate radio-frequency pulses in the examination area and/or receive the MR signals from the patients body in the examination area, a control unit to monitor the timed radio-frequency pulse sequence and switchable magnetic gradients, and a reconstruction unit.
