PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a belt fastening operation after a wheelchair is rolled into a vehicle while eliminating the arrangement of a column-like member for support for a conventional platform, in a seat belt device for the wheelchair equipped in a wheelchair lift transfer device.
SOLUTION: An engagement fitting 511 of a shoulder belt 51 is supported by being connected to an engagement buckle 53 provided in the interior M of the vehicle. When the platform 21 is located at a loading/unloading position outside the vehicle, the engagement fitting 511 of the shoulder belt 51 can be temporarily connected to a temporarily holding fitting 63 provided at the platform 21. When the platform 21 is located at a loaded position in the vehicle interior M, the connection state of the engagement fitting 511 of the shoulder belt 51 can be changed to fixed and supported connection to the engagement buckle 53 in the vehicle interior M from the temporary connection to the temporarily holding fitting 63.
