PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animal fixing device for a diagnostic apparatus, which allows an animal to be diagnosed while the movement thereof is suppressed without using anesthetics or lowering a body temperature, and which allows an approach from the outside and treatments such as an operation to be performed.SOLUTION: The animal fixing device 100 for a diagnostic apparatus is used when diagnosing an animal which is a subject using the diagnostic apparatus such as an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) apparatus, and includes a frame body 101 comprising a rigid material and is structured in such a manner that the animal 108 which is the subject is put in the frame body. The animal fixing device 100 further includes inside the frame body, a member 109 composed of a flexible material for pressurizing and fixing the animal which is the subject, and includes in the head part of the frame body, a member for shielding light from the outside.
