PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commutator, along with a method of manufacturing the commutator and a rotary electric machine equipped with the commutator, capable of assuring sufficient electrification with a simple configuration when using an aluminum winding to reduce a cost and a weight.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a commutator equipped with a commutator segment 40. The commutator segment 40 includes a segment body 41 of copper, and an aluminum tab part 42 to which an aluminum winding 2 is connected. The segment body 41 includes a connection part 41b for hooking the tab part 42 on an inside surface.
