PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a securing tape which is used to fix the front body and back body of a diaper, is easily worn and makes a hook material hardly detachable from a base material.
SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the securing tape includes: a process of piling up the back surface of a long-length hook material which is the hook material of a mechanical fastener and a long-length base material sheet wider than the long-length hook material matching the longitudinal direction to obtain a long-length sheet laminate and a process of pressurizing and press-fitting both width-direction ends of the long-length hook material of the obtained long-length sheet laminate and at least a part between both width-direction ends of the long-length hook material.
