The present invention is to provide a coffee composition comprising 5 to 1,000 parts by weight of protein, 1 to 150 parts by weight of a cockscomb, 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of an emulsifier and 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of vegetable oil with respect to 100 parts by weight of coffee powder, and a preparation method thereof. The coffee composition using a cockscomb according to the present invention does not reduce flavors peculiar to coffee and allows a cockscomb to be easily taken, wherein the cockscomb is helpful for blood action, alleviation of menstrual pain and improvements in ophthalmologic diseases.본 발명은 커피 분말 100중량부에 대하여, 단백질 5 내지 1,000중량부； 맨드라미 1 내지 150중량부； 유화제 0.1 내지 5중량부； 및 식물성 유지 0.1 내지 5중량부를 포함하는 커피 조성물 및 이의 제조방법을 제공한다.본 발명에 따른 맨드라미를 이용한 커피 조성물은 커피 고유의 맛을 저감시키기지 않으면서도, 혈 작용, 생리통 완화 및 안과 질환개선에 도움을 주는 맨드라미를 용이하게 섭취할 수 있도록 하는 효과가 있다.
