PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: if a confocal image is captured by reflecting all of the light in a center part of return light from a fundus oculus by a mirror disposed in an image formation plane and a non-confocal image is captured with return light transmitted through peripheral parts of the mirror, the resolution of the non-confocal image is deteriorated.SOLUTION: An image capturing apparatus according to the present invention comprises: first branching means for branching a part of the light in a center part of the return light obtained by irradiating a subject with measurement light from the light source to a confocal imaging unit and the other part of the light in the center part and the light in peripherals of the center part to a non-confocal imaging unit first light receiving means for measuring the intensity of the light branched to the confocal imaging unit second light receiving means for measuring the intensity of the light branched to the non-confocal imaging unit and a first generation means for generating an image from signals corresponding to the intensities of the light received by the first and second light receiving means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】 結像面に設置されたミラーで眼底からの戻り光の中心部を全て反射して共焦点画像を撮像し、ミラー周辺部を透過した戻り光で非共焦点画像を撮像すると非共焦点画像が低分解能となってしまう。【解決手段】 光源からの測定光を被検査物に照射することにより得られる戻り光の中心部の一部の光を共焦点撮像部へ、前記中心部のそれ以外の光と前記中心部の周辺の光を非共焦点撮像部へ分岐する第1分岐手段と、前記共焦点撮像部へ分岐された光の強度を測定する第1受光手段と、前記非共焦点撮像部へ分岐された光の強度を測定する第2受光手段と、前記第1及び第2手段によりそれぞれ受光された光の強度に応じた信号から画像を生成する第1生成手段とを有する。【選択図】 図2
