Disclosed is an assay for screening a compound for activity against a mycoplasma. The assay comprises introducing the mycoplasma, a culture medium and the compound to be tested into a well culture device, incubating the material in the well culture device, then separating out the culture medium from the well culture device thereby leaving residual material in the well culture device contacting the residual material with crystal violet and then determining the amount, if any, of crystal violet retained, and if any amount is retained comparing the amount of retained crystal violet to a standard.Linvention concerne une analyse pour le criblage de composés à activité anti-mycoplasmique.
