A live bacteria product including dormant viable bacteria suspended in a liquid carrier. The carrier contains mineral oil and polymers and may also include an adsorbent. The product is stored and shipped in a plastic bag and is sprayed onto livestock feed or the like. The treated livestock feed is then fed to the livestock with the ambient moisture in the digestive system of livestock causing the hydration of the bacteria to begin the bacterias life cycle.
