A series of Ag3PO4/NiFe-LDH /RGO( (y), y= 2, 4 and 6 wt% adsorbent material with binary layered structure NiFe-LDH and RGO with cubic phases of Ag3PO4 were prepared from 3 wt% Ag3PO4/NiFe-LDH and graphene oxide followed by sonication and hydrothermal treatment at 180 °C . An optimal ratio of 3 wt% Ag3PO4/NiFe-LDH /RGO 4 wt% exhibited highest adsorption of textile dyes such as Methylene Blue (90.0 %) and Methyl Orange (100.0 %) adsorption for 30 mins at temperature in the range of 25 °C to 30 °C. The material is resistive to photo corrosion and reused up to five cycles.
