PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an injection material in a container from being consumed wastefully in such a case as when a person intentionally approaches an animal repellent device, and to obtain a repellent effect when necessary while preventing a person from being surprised.SOLUTION: An injection prohibition operation executed by a person is detected based on a sound generated by the injection prohibition operation. The detection means is configured so as to detect the injection prohibition operation based on a sound other than a sound in a predetermined low frequency region.
