PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell food product that has a content detection function and in which a food material is coated with a jelly-state thin film.SOLUTION: There is provided a cell food product 2 in which a food material is coated with a jelly-state thin film, where the jelly-state thin film does not permit the permeation of moisture content and permits the permeation of only an odor of a content, so that a user can confirm the odor of the content before putting the food product into the mouth, and therefore, the cell food product is prevented from being put into the mouth thoughtlessly. A protrusion part 9 which can be cut easily is provided on a part of the jelly-state thin film, the part of the jelly-state thin film can be cut and torn for opening the cell food product 2. Inside of the jelly-state coating (cell) is coated with a waterproof coating which is insoluble in water and outside is coated with a coating having waterproofness, or waterproofness and water repellency, in the jelly-state coating of the food product 2.
