PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the width of a walking aid compact when a support is folded.
SOLUTION: The walking aid includes the support 3 attached to a base 7 in such a way as foldable a pair of left and right wheel frames 6 to which wheels are attached a connection mechanism 22 for attaching the wheel frames 6 to the base in such a way as oscillatable in the cross direction and an opening/closing mechanism 23 to interlock with the folding of the support 3 for narrowing the space between the left and right wheel frames 6 and to interlock with the erection of the support 3 for widening the space between the left and right wheel frames 6.
