The present invention relates to a pesticidal composition, and in particular an insecticide or an acaricide, comprising: (i) maltodextrin； (ii) surfactant； and (iii) water, wherein said maltodextrin comprises at least 75 % oligosaccharides having a chain length of 3 to 7 based on the overall oligosaccharide mixture having chains of length 3 to 20. The invention also relates to a method of making a pesticidal composition and to use of the composition as a pesticide, e.g. as an insecticide or acaricide.La présente invention se réfère à une composition pesticide, et en particulier à un insecticide ou un acaricide, comprenant : (I) de la maltodextrine ； (ii) un tensioactif ； et (iii) de l'eau, ladite maltodextrine comprenant au moins 75 % d'oligosaccharides présentant une longueur de chaîne comprise entre 3 et 7 sur la base du mélange total d'oligosaccharides dont les chaînes présentent une longueur comprise entre 3 et 20.
