PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous scaffold solving problems with the prior art, having porosity sufficient for cell culture and a high communication property while retaining a shape suited for a reproduction portion and having a porous structure of uniform size.
SOLUTION: This porous scaffold for culturing a cell for a site of a defective living portion into a shape fitted to the defect, consists of particulate void sections and needle-like void sections, and is characterized in that the porous body which has a porous structure formed by connecting the particulate void sections to one another by the multiple needle-like sections is covered with an outer shell with the porosity less than that.
