The injection device (10) comprises a motor system (4) with a motor (4.1) configured to drive a first piston (3.1), and at least a syringe cover (1,1) adapted to be mounted on the motor system (4) and to accommodate a syringe (2) comprising at least a syringe barrel (2.4) for accommodating the filling material, a syringe needle (2.1) and a second piston (2.2) located in the syringe and drivable by the first piston (3.1) for ejecting a quantity of filling material out of the syringe (2). The motor system (4) is cable-free electrically actuated.
