PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper whose front body and back body are easily engaged and not easily disengaged after engaged.SOLUTION: The disposable diaper includes an outer sheet 20 having the front body and the back body, and an inner body 10 including an absorber on a skin abutting surface of the outer sheet. The front body and back body of the outer sheet are connected by engageable/separable connecting means to form a waist opening and a lateral pair of leg openings. The side parts of the back body have strip parts 65 extended in a direction of a wearers upper half body. The connecting means includes first engaging members and second engaging members 41 provided at the clothes abutting surfaces of the side parts of the front body, and third engaging members 42 and fourth engaging members 43 provided at the clothes abutting surfaces of the side parts of the back body.
