PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warp knitted bandage having excellent stretching properties, being easily worn, providing a comfortable wearing property, and configured to provide an effect of further effectively preventing swelling by applying appropriate oppression to the calf in particular, and appropriate application method thereof.SOLUTION: A warp knitted bandage 1 comprises a warp knitted texture formed by knitting a stretchable insertion yarn in the warp direction while forming stitches by a warp, and knitting a weft in a course direction, where at least the stretching rate of the insertion yarn is set to not less than 200% and less than 500%.
