PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase color development efficiency and to prevent erroneous color development in hot and humid conditions.SOLUTION: In a disposable diaper, a clear and colorless indicator 80 using a leuco dye as a color former is provided on a liquid-impermeable sheet 11 in such a manner as to come into contact with an excreted liquid coming from above. A part, which at least partially overlaps the indicator 80, of a packaging sheet 58 contains a developer 81 for making the indicator 80 develop a color. The developer 81 is dissolved in the excreted liquid and brought into contact with the indicator 80 together with the excreted liquid so that the indicator 80 can develop the color.
