A vegetation mat by the prevent invention comprises: a first net installed to cover an embankment slope made with sandy soil； a seed sheet which has seeds of a plant and which is made as a structure having vent holes for germination of the seeds and stacked on the first net； a blanket which is stacked on the seed sheet and on which pores, which are as wide as buds of the seed can pass through, are formed； and a second net stacked on the blanket. Using the vegetation mat for sandy soil ground according to the present invention, plants can be vegetated on the slope on the embankment or river so preventing the loss the slope on the embankment or river in an eco-friendly way, and moisture or nourishment can be contained for a long time so the vegetation on the coarse-grained sandy soil ground is possible.본 발명에 의한 식생매트는, 사질토 재질의 사면을 덮도록 설치되는 제1 네트； 식물의 종자가 포함되되 상기 종자의 발아가 가능하도록 통기공을 갖는 구조로 제작되어, 상기 제1 네트 상에 적층되는 종자시트； 상기 종자시트 상에 적층되며, 상기 종자의 싹이 관통할 수 있는 크기의 공극이 형성되는 블랭킷； 상기 블랭킷 상에 적층되는 제2 네트；를 포함한다. 본 발명에 의한 사질토 지반용 식생매트를 이용하면, 하천이나 제방의 사면에 식물을 식재할 수 있으므로 친환경적인 방법으로 하천이나 제방의 사면 유실을 방지할 수 있고, 수분이나 영양분이 장시간 동안 함유될 수 있으므로 입자크기가 큰 사질토 지반에도 식재가 가능해진다는 장점이 있다.
