PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an apneic state in time of sleep with high accuracy.SOLUTION: This apneic state decision device includes: a section detection part detecting, from an acoustic signal, a respiration section regarded that the section includes respiratory sound, and a halfway section present between the respiration sections a calculation part calculating an acoustic characteristic amount based on a background noise component included in the halfway section and a signal component except the background noise component and a decision part deciding the halfway section as an apneic state when the acoustic characteristic amount agrees with a prescribed condition.
