PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably remove noise components from a radiation image signal.SOLUTION: In an FPD 36, a signal processing circuit 40 which converts a signal charge accumulated by pixels 37 to electric signals and outputs the electric signals and noise detection elements 63 are arranged in each of plural columns of groups 62 of the pixels 37. A noise detection element 63 has a constitution similar to the pixel 37 but does not have a charge accumulation function, the output voltage signal Dnz of the noise detection element 63 expressing noise components.
