PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmologic examination apparatus capable of performing smooth and rapid alignment motion even for an eye mounting an intraocular lens.SOLUTION: An ophthalmologic examination apparatus comprises an optical unit 3 including an alignment optical system 13, an XYZ drive unit 5, an image processing unit 6, and a control unit 4. The alignment optical system 13 includes a CCD 28 for receiving an image of a front eye part image including a Purkinje image. The image processing unit 6 recognizes a plurality of Purkinje images from the image of the Purkinje image, identifies a corneal reflex Purkinje image from the Purkinje images, and identifies position relation between the Purkinje images. The image processing unit 6 stores the identified corneal reflex Purkinje image and the relation between the corneal reflex Purkinje image and the other Purkinje images. The control unit 4 instructs the XYZ drive unit 5 to make the optical unit 3 follow the corneal reflex Purkinje image in alignment motion.
